★★★★★« This is probably one of the most beautiful Montessori schools I have visited in Paris and surroundings over the past two months while looking for a place to enroll our daughter in the 3-6 group.
We like this school because:
- The team is very welcoming, and the communication is smooth.
- This is a genuine Montessori school, meaning they use official materials and activities and are very well equipped. I am familiar with the Montessori pedagogy and can differentiate between what is real Montessori material and classroom setup from what is merely Montessori "inspired."
- The furniture is new and in excellent condition.
- The atmosphere is cozy; the classrooms are spacious, airy, and full of natural light. I visited while the children were still in the classroom and was glad to see that the number of children was proportionally adequate to the size of the classrooms.
These may sound like basic things you would expect from a private school as a parent, but most of the Montessori schools we have visited in Paris were either too small and crowded with too many children and dark inside, or too old and cluttered. I understand this, as I know that these types of schools are usually private and function only with the annual fees paid by the families, but this one definitely prioritises quality over the quantity of the children enrolled. »

★★★★★« We would definitely recommend this Montessori school to any bilingual families. The headmistress and teachers are all exceptional. Each child’s learning requirements are taken into consideration. Our 4 yr old daughter's confidence, autonomy and social awareness have grown dramatically since the beginning of the year. She is a bilingual child, so being taught in both French and English simultaneously is a bonus for us. The light and airy classrooms have been specifically designed to meet Montessori requirements. Although there is no playground, the children go to a public playground a few minutes walk away and are responsible for taking care of their ‘bacs potagers’! »

★★★★★« My daughter used to hate going to school before going to Jeunes Pousses. Now, she asks to go everyday, even on weekends ! The pedagogy and education (Montessori) is wonderful with a focus on nature : at least one day in the "forest" per week, no matter what the weather is ! There is no bad weather, just bad equipment :-)
Everyone there (teachers, dean and parents) is really nice and thoughtful.
Nothing more to ask for really. »
